About

This site is my attempt at documenting many of the technologies I come across on a daily basis. I work in the information technology field for a health-care company. As a Network Technician, I get to play with Cisco Hardware, Citrix Terminal Servers, Linux, Microsoft Software, SAN’s and everything in between.

Working in the IT industry, I find that I get the opportunity to work with tons of interesting technologies. The problem is that I don’t work with them often enough to remember all the small details. When something breaks it’s been a year or more since I initially configured something. I’m sure you have had the same experience.

This site’s purpose it two-fold. It’s a log of useful items that I will probably need to remember someday or things I find interesting, and it’s useful for you It professionals and hobbyists out there so you don’t have to re-invent the wheel. I like to have good documentation whenever possible. That means clear instructions, easy to follow, and lots and lots of pictures.
